At a railway platform chai stall, the pour is theater: the higher the stream between pot and glass, the better the froth, the louder the morning. Cardamom, ginger, black pepper, cloves — every chaiwallah keeps his own ratio.

We wanted the painting to feel like that first sip: hot, sweet, spiced, and slightly too small, so you immediately want another.
